French and Saunders go to the Movies?

The other day, I was watching a French and Sauders program called
"French and Saunders go to the Movies". In it, they parodies several
films, including Dangerous Liaisons, Thelma and Louise and Play Misty
for Me, but there was one shot in black and white that I cannot name.
It's a sort of a surreal thing, with a character representing death.
Does anyone know who it is?
